Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
3 Tbl. Unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 3/4 cups Deerfield Farm Raw Milk
2 Tbl. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions: In a saucepan, stir together sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and salt. Place over low heat and stir in milk. Simmer, and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens enough to coat back of metal spoon. Remove from heat, and stir in butter and vanilla. Let cool briefly, and serve warm, or chill in refrigerator until serving.
Smoothies
Add frozen fruit, honey, fruit juice and flax seed to Deerfield Farm Yogurt. Blend until smooth in blender and enjoy a very nutritious treat.
Veal Meat Loaf
2 pounds Deerfield Farm ground veal
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup Deerfield Farm Raw Milk
1(1 oz.) envelope dry onion soup mix
2 large carrots grated
1 pint mushrooms, sliced
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a bowl, mix the ground veal, eggs, dry bread crumbs, water, soup mix, carrots, and shiitake mushrooms. Transfer to a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, or to a minimum internal
temperature of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
Tortilla Pin Wheels
Ingredients:
Tortilla wraps
Deerfield Farm Fresh White Cheese
Ham or Salamideli meat chopped
Scallions or chives - chopped
Directions: Spread Deerfield Farm Fresh White Cheese Over tortilla wrap. Sprinkle with chopped deli meat and scallions or chives. Snuggly roll tortilla wrap. Slice tortilla into pinwheels. Makes a great appetizer and quick to make!
